History of music studio Dartford and Memory of Barrie Breton.

Music studio Dartford was built in March 2018 after Jackie decided to return to the UK after teaching and performing in Spain with her partner Barrie Breton. Jackie has lots of experience in performing because whilst there (2002-2017) she played in many bars and restaurants in the province of Alicante with Barrie. Playing different genres of music for different types of crowds both old and young. They were members of a Jazz band and enjoyed working with many different types of musicians.

Barrie passed away in July 2018 but before he become ill, he built the music studio himself with Jackie in order so they could teach and record music and pass on their love of music to their pupils. He has left a legacy by building a small music studio in Dartford.

Jackie performing with Hayley

So it can be said that Barrie came from a very artistic background and a lover of jazz himself. Therefore it was only natural that Barrie’s daughter Hayley would enjoy music and now regularly rehearses with Jackie in Dartford studio.

Jackie and Hayley enjoy rehearsing cover songs from different music genres and we have performed to help raise money for good causes.
